If you do not have health insurance or if yours does not cover Chiropractic services, do not worry, we have reasonable rates for you as well!
Dr. Sarchenko will conduct a comprehensive physical examination of the region of your main complaint, which may include a series of orthopedic tests, in addition to discussing with you your past medical history. Patients are gowned for a more thorough exam of the back/spine , so please wear or bring shorts if he will be doing an exam of any lower extremities.
If Dr. Sarchenko believe he can help you and that yours is a good case for Chiropractic, he will typically do some muscle work/trigger point therapy, he will probably adjust a couple of areas to restore correct movement in the area of concern, he may apply hot or cold packs to the area, and he may have you do some stretches at the clinic or at home to help speed you recovery, if he sees fit.
Your first appointment will take about an hour. Chiropractic usually involves a series of treatments, one building upon the next. He will let you know when he needs to see you again for your next appointment.
Subsequent appointments will usually include a brief consultation to see how you are doing on the treatment plan, muscle work, an adjustment, and possibly some other therapies that will help your condition. Regular office visits are about 15-20 minutes.
It is very important for you to follow the treatment plan prescribed by the Doctor. The success of your recovery depends on you making it to your appointments and following at home care directions.
If you have a new complaint, please call the clinic ahead of time so we can schedule extra time for the doctor to do an exam on that area.
